Ivy Obeng is the latest recruit to the Asaase management team, arriving in May 2022.

She joined the company with over ten years’ experience in HR management, having worked with the Nyaho Medical Centre and before that Ghana Oil Palm Development Company.

A generalist, she has managed the full range of HR services, including strategic business partnering, talent acquisition, performance enablement and culture, organisational effectiveness, employee relations, reward and recognition, and building “employer of choice” brands. She has a passion for establishing “best in class” practices for businesses.

Asked her initial plans for taking up the position of head of human resources at Asaase, she said: “I believe in creating an enabling environment that positions employees for success through accountability. HR practice is the discipline that holds the organisation together seamlessly. I intend to make this a reality at Asaase.”
